A 3D fractal made with Fryrender. Done in Oct 2010. A laborious experiment trying to port apophysis formulas to 3D. Rendered with apophysis 2.08, transformed with Photoshop to later trace it with Illustrator and finally export it to 3DSMax. After "cleaning" and more adjusts it was finally rendered with Fryrender, an unbiased render engine from Randomcontrol [link] The apophysis formula is a script from djeaton3162 [link] called J4GC [link]
Starting with the STonehenge comment, Stonehenge 2350 AD ... What was once a simple design for tracking the seasons develops into a full city of the future!
This looks so much like a sort of digitized Stonehenge to me. I really admire the conservative colors, the way you used light and shadow, the very realistic depth of field and focal plane. Simple eye-catching for me An excellent example of your overall imagination. Love your stuff.
